BANDAI NAMCO Studios Creators’ Night is an event dedicated to sharing BANDAI NAMCO Studios technology with everyone around the world.
The event features details on the state-of-the-art and time-tested technology used in our company, as well as and other information that we think can contribute to the growth of the industry.
This time, we’ll take a look at the Communication Support Team, a department that was established in April 2021.
As BNS continues to develop games with the intention of reaching a worldwide audience, the talent within our company is also diversifying. This means the ability to communicate in English has become especially important for us.
We have invited the team leader to talk about how the team came to be, and its strategy to help BNS with its internal Japanese-and-English communications.
They will also be available to answer your questions directly.
The presentation will be available in both English and Japanese, and participants can choose from both languages at will.

Kurumi Uranishi

Kurumi joined the Employment Team in 2019 as an Overseas Hiring Representative. A discussion she had with one of her managers resulted in her becoming one of the founding members of the Global Development Department’s Communication Support Team, and she currently leads the team through its daily activities.
Sam Graue-Landis
– Technology Studio, Global Development Department, Communication Support Part / Translator
Sam joined the Communication Support Team in 2021, bringing along his translation and interpretation experience in internal communications in the anime and games industries. His main duties involve simultaneous and consecutive interpretation at internal and external company meetings, as well as the translation of a wide variety of documents.
